I bought a new phone last week - a Nokia 6300 upgrade - which I primarily bought for the MP3 player. The card that came with it only has 128mb of memory so I bought a 2gb card that came with an adaptor and USB reader. I started copying tracks onto it (MP3s from iTunes) and all was going well for a while until a notice came upon the screen saying something like "Error! Unable to create directory" or some such jargon. I've only been able to fill 634mb of space on it even though the card is being read and telling me that I've 2gb of memory. Can anyone tell me do I have to do something with the card like format it or is the card simply faulty?? Thank you! moreResolved Question: Creative mp3 player, which one?

i have this old 128mb napster mp3 player and a while ago the thing decided to not work anymore. by not work i mean...as soon as i plug it into the computer it slows down my computer compeltely... it takes ages and ages before i can even open "my computer" to see that it has been connected. if that all works and i can see that is connected and i would like to view the files in the "storage drive", doube clicking the icon or selecting 'explore' usually completely freezes my computer and i cant defunk anything unless i unplug the player. so this all means the player is completely usless to me. i cant listen to songs on it. i cant put songs on it. so basically i need to know what i can do you fix this thing. and from what research ive done...fixing this means reformatting it which will hopefully restore it to some kind of factory setting. i tried the "format" option when right clicking the disc icon in "my computer"...this doesnt work. it simply says that it could not format it.. moreResolved Question: Where can i find a Linux distro small enough on a 128MB USB device?

Hey guys what’s up this is my first time asking a question on yahoo answers, ok so I have an old MP3 player that I just found and started using again, it’s the Rio Forge 128MB, any way it has an optional slot to put in SD and MMC cards, so I was reading the manual and it has that the maximum I can increase my capacity to is 1.2 Gigs, now radio shack has a sale going on rite now, SanDisk 1 Gig for $15 and 2 Gig for $20 obviously I want to be more economical and get the 2 Gig, but will the 2 Gig work in my MP3 player. I not sure if it says Upgradeable up to 1.12Gb, because 3 years ago when it came out 1 Gig was the highest they had, or because it’s built to be able to take in only up to 1 Gig, so what should I do I’m not sure if it’ll be able to take in 2 Gigs. www.rioaudio.com is the website for this player. I’m quoting this form there website “Upgradeable up to 1.12GB*** of memory using SD™ or MMC™ memory cards” Any help is much welcome and appreciated, thank you in advanced. moreResolved Question: Please suggest most durable, economical, branded usb mp3 player?
