Open Question: What happens to those who die without hearing the good news of Jesus Christ?

I've been asked this question many times and I never quite know how to answer it. I have found the bible verse Revelations 14:6 Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth – to every nation, tribe, language, and people. Which explains that God makes sure the message gets across. But this is still vague. Does anyone have a bible verse pointing out that no one dies without the message or that those who do go to heaven?  more

Open Question: What's this television episode?

What television series episode featured a man stuck in a time loop, where he returned to the median of a busy city street every one or few hours? In the course of the brief period, he finds news reports of a space-time phenomenon affecting Earth. In the final loop of the show, he tracks down the scientist to ask him/her how to get out of the loop. When he is told there is no way out, he takes a gun from a nearby guard or cop and shoots himself, only to go back to the busy street where he started. I saw this on TV in the late 80s or early 90s. Thanks!  more

Open Question: What do you think the real reasons were that Sarah Palin resigned?

Dick Morris: Palin Took Big Risk in Quitting Office Friday, July 3, 2009 3:07 PM By: Tim Collie Article Font Size Reacting to Gov. Sarah Palin’s stunning resignation announcement Friday, political analyst and best-selling author Dick Morris said the former vice presidential candidate is likely freeing herself up for a run for the U.S. Senate next year or the presidency in 2012. But Morris, a Newsmax columnist and one of the leading political minds in the United States, said he would not have advised Palin to resign in the middle of her term. It opens her up to charges that she is a quitter and reinforces an image of her as “flaky” in the mainstream media. Morris declined to speculate what effect this could have on the GOP, which he said should be focusing on stopping President Barack Obama’s policies in healthcare and other areas. Palin is a formidable figure, he said, and if the GOP mounts a strong defense against Obama she’ll be one of many promising candidates in 2012. “I think she felt too moored to Alaska and she had to get out of there to solidify her national and international credentials,’’ Morris said. “But that opens yourself up to the attack that you’ve only served half your term, two years. What kind of basis is that to think you could be president? “I think it would have been better to serve out her term – I think it’s better to get that experience under your belt,” Morris said. Still digesting the surprising news Friday just after Palin’s announcement, Morris offered four possibilities behind Palin’s reasoning: Palin could be preparing to challenge Sen. Lisa Murkowski in the Republican primary in 2010. Palin defeated Murkowski’s father, former Gov. Frank Murkowski, in the 2006 Republican primary. She’s fed up with politics because of “all the personal garbage she’s been subject to” and could be looking at a career as an author or even TV personality. She wants to run full-time for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012. Now is simply not a good time to be governor because every state is facing shortfalls and Palin is dealing with a hostile legislature and Democratic critics who have showered her with unfounded ethics complaints. “And then of course there’s the possibility of something we don’t know about, and in that case, we’ll just have to see,” Morris said. But Morris was perplexed over how resigning in the middle of her term would help her in a presidential run, and who would have given her such advice among political professionals. “I don’t see how this helps her other than to take her out of the line of fire as a governor, but she did need all the experience she can get,” Morris said. “She’s been the mayor of a town of 7,000 people except for two and a half years as governor. “It’s not at all clear how this helps her.” Morris said he was aware through contacts close to Palin that she was very sensitive about using her office to increase her national exposure. She was always bothered that she wasn’t given enough time to Alaska’s issues, a problem she hinted at in her short statement Friday. Palin was also up against the insurmountable fact of Alaska’s geography – every political trip or conference would mean more days away from her state than the average governor would face in the lower 48. “She was getting a lot of criticism about being out of state too much,’’ Morris said. “It’s not like the governor of New York where you can just hop down to Washington for a few hours and be back in the evening. “I think maybe she was being too tied to the governorship and not being able to develop her image as a national person or develop credentials in foreign affairs,’’ Morris said.  more

Open Question: Why does the media find it necessary to...(details inside)?

Notice how every time a Muslim commits a crime the news finds it necessary to report if they were Muslim....even it has nothing to do with Islam. If a Muslim kills his wife the headline would be "Muslim kills Wife" but if a Christian does the same thing it wold say "Man kills wife" Why are Muslims always labeled, even when their crime had nothing to do with religion, and Christians or Jews are never labeled? Your thoughts? If youre confused on what Im talking about check this link out, perfect example. http://pakistans.com/lets-evaluate-muslims-non-muslims/ @ Troll: Actually if a Muslim criminal sleeps with his daughter they didnt do that in the name of Allah. Wow, I heard ignorance is bliss but you are plain retarded. MD: Anyone can commit a crime regardless of their religion! What do you mean Muslims should lower crime, do you realize how low the crime rate in Islamic countries is compared to the US. Anyhow I hope you click the link I posted before making anymore stupid remarks Take a look at what your Bible has to offer before attacking Islam. "But if this charge is true (that she wasn't a virgin on her wedding night), and evidence of the girls virginity is not found, they shall bring the girl to the entrance of her fathers house and there her townsman shall stone her to death, because she committed a crime against Israel by her unchasteness in her father's house. Thus shall you purge the evil from your midst. (Deuteronomy 22:20-21 NAB)"  more

Open Question: So if I'm not pregnant...what is going on?

I went to the emergency room last week in a panic because the doctor told me I was pregnant. Turns out, she read the chart wrong, and according to the emergency room doctor, my hcg lvls are at .1, and I'm definitely NOT pregnant. Which for me right now is good news. But why am I still having mild cramps down there? Almost like menstrual cramps? And why do I seem to be so darn hungry all the time? I'll eat a sub, and then within 3 hours, I'm hungry again. I don't understand this. Am I psyching myself into pregnancy symptoms? My period's not due for at least another week, and I've been cramping for days now. What is going on with me?  more

Open Question: So I wrote this girl a song..?

..for her bday and she couldn't believe I wrote it and was like "you are officially AMAZING." I was like "that aint the best news i heard" and she was like "i think it's the greatest news ever." She told me this online and said she woulda called but it was too late by the time she listened to it. Also, this girl told a friend (after he asked how I met her) that we met in class (college) and she started talking to me cause she thought I was cute and then realized I had a great personality, but told him not to tell me this. Is that the same as saying she likes me? I've known her for about 6 months now, we hang out every once in a while. I go to her church, which she invited me too (she's very religious/traditional). Also, these past two days, she's called me from work..no point to the calls either, just to talk I guess, and both times we ended up talking like 20 minutes. I've told her things like "the coolest most attractive part about you is your spirituality" to which she blushed and was like "stopp it you're making me blusshh! you're too cool too." She's impossible to get out of the house though, with everyone. We keep having to postpone going out to dinner or lunch, though ive gone ice skating with her and gotten some ice cream once.  more

Open Question: What are the chances my cyst will return and be cancerous?

Im 15 and i had a cyst on my right ovary last year, it was 30cm and they drained four and a half litres of fluid from it, and the surgeons said its extremely unlikely it would return. i must be lucky because, lo and behold, it returned again and i had this second tumour removed a few weeks ago, it was a mucus-producing borderline cancerous tumour, this time i was not so fortunate and my right falopian tube, ovary and apendix were removed (the tumour had been growing inside the falopian tube and it was pretty much destroyed, and my apendix was removed because it can sometimes play a part in the recurrance of tumours/cysts) it came back even though the odds were so low they suggeted i not worry about it, and i fear this is history repeating itself, i was told id need chemo after having it removed a second time and they decided againsts it after i was transfered to another hospital. i just want to know what to expect, the second time i had it removed i had an mri that said it was on my bowel, and i prepared myself incase id have to have one of those bags on my stomach. and when i was told i needed chemo i prepared myself to be bald and prepared for the sickness, weakness etc, i researched chemotherapies and tried to come to terms with it, when i finally had i got the good news that i wouldnt need it but its hard to get of that mind-set. im so scared ill need surgery again, im covered in scars, and strech marks from the tumours rapid growth, and the pain is unbearable after surgery, ive had enough morphine to knock out a full grown man before, and still been in agony i just want to know what my chances are, of course i want only people with medical training to answer if possible, thank you.  more

Open Question: To Quit or not to Quit?

I'm in my current job for 2 years now and the past 2 years have been really unhappy and torturing, one of the main reasons include the fact that i cant get along with a colleague whom i need to work with closely. i thought time will make things better, but guess what, the longer we face each other, the worst it gets. recently, there's news that we(me and that colleague) are moving to a new dept. in addition, there's a vacancy in my dept when one of my colleagues resigned recently and that management is still looking for a replacement. talked to my boss about switching to that vacancy, however, there's no definate answer from him. future seems uncertain. I need advice whether i should just quit and take a break, as im currently taking part time studies and had some savings over the 2 years. Or to wait n see if i can fill the vacancy, cause i wont want to move with that colleague. But again, im pretty sick of the environment here, Will changing to another job role in the same dept will help at all?  more

Open Question: When will Sarah Palin's career as a FOX "news" anchor begin?

Open Question: Is Barrack Obama a great American?

Barrack Hussein Obama.... WANTS TO GIVE US MORE MONEY BY TAKING IT AWAY Obama's Cap and Trade plan will raise American families taxes by $4,000 of which about $700 - $800 will be redistributed to the needy. The other $3,300 will be used to pay for his stimulus plan (which quadrupled the national debt), universal healthcare ($1.4 trillion), and other plans. If you want to compare his spending with Bush, look here: http://blog.heritage.org/2009/03/24/bush-deficit-vs-obama-deficit-in-pictures/ ASSOCIATED WITH A DOMESTIC TERRORIST (BILL AYERS) A New York Times reporter quoted Bill Ayers saying "I don't regret setting bombs" and "I feel we didn't do enough", and, when asked if he would do it all again as saying "I don't want to discount the possibility." Obama and Ayers have stated they had no close connection, yet there is evidence that they worked on the same council for 3 years. Obama even had a fundraiser in Ayers home for his first campaign. The fundraiser was "a small gathering of about a dozen people" so they most definitely interacted. ATTENDS RACIST SERMONS WITH AMERICAN HATE SPEECH Reverand Wright is quoted as saying that the "damn Jews" control the White House. He is also quoted as saying "God damn America,"that America is "killing innocent people," and that America invented HIV/AIDS as a form of genocide against its own people. BORN IN KENYA, NOT THE UNITED STATES Despite Obama's birth certificate from Hawaii (which took a while to produce...probably because they had to make it). Someone is lying. According to Obama's Kenyan (paternal) grandmother, as well as his half-brother and half-sister, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Kenya, not in Hawaii as the Democratic candidate for president claims. His grandmother bragged that her grandson is about to be President of the United States and is so proud because she was present DURING HIS BIRTH IN KENYA, in the delivery room. -This, according to several news sites and Pennsylvania attorney Philip J. Berg who is, surprisingly, a life long democrat himself. Berg is the former Deputy Attorney General of Pennsylvania, and he has an impressive background in his activities as a democrat, but his support for the party seemingly stops when it comes to his trust in Barack Hussein Obama. RAISED WITH ISLAMIC INFLUENCE OVERSEAS His father was a Muslim and mother was an atheist (how is Obama a Christian?). His parents divorced and his mother got remarried to another Muslim. Barack Hussein Obama attended schools in a dominantly Islamic Indonesia for 5 years. I am not saying all Muslims are bad, I am saying Obama is lying through his teeth. DESPITE BEING CHRISTIAN, FINDS CHRISTIANITY OFFENSIVE When Obama gave a speech at Georgetown University the White House asked them to cover up a symbol representing Christianity, despite Georgetown being a Christian school. If Obama spoke at a mosque, we all know he would NEVER ask them to hide the Koran or the crescent moon. WANTS TO PUT YOUR FAMILY AT RISK "The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subject races to possess arms. History shows that all conquerors who have allowed their subject races to carry arms have prepared their own downfall by so doing. Indeed, I would go so far as to say that the supply of arms to the underdogs is a sine qua non for the overthrow of any sovereignty. So let's not have any native militia or native police. German troops alone will bear the sole responsibility for the maintenance of law and order throughout the occupied Russian territories, and a system of military strong-points must be evolved to cover the entire occupied country." --Adolf Hitler Obama, like Hitler, wants to rid of us the 2nd Amendment. If the British had done the same thing, we would have never achieved our freedom. The purpose of the people having weapons is do defend themselves from an unfair government, and rise when necessary. If the Jews had guns, perhaps 6 million lives could have been saved. WANTS TO IGNORE ILLEGAL ALIENS The Bush Administration proposed a rule to instruct employers how to deal with the "no-match" letters to ensure that employers don't continue to employ illegal aliens. By Obama gutting this rule, not only would illegal aliens be allowed to continue in their jobs but the Obama Administration would also be turning a blind eye to those illegal aliens who are committing felony identity theft by using the Social Security number of an American citizen or legal immigrant! WANTS TO PROSECUTE GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES FOR DOING THEIR JOBS Obama sold out the CIA for using waterboarding tactics yet refused to produce the entire document so we wouldn't know what information they got from using those techniques. All we know is they used water boarding. Most likely he didn't produce those documents because we would all see that water boarding has resulted in gaining valuable information to save American lives. Open Question: Get back again with Ex and I would like to make it better this time...?

This February, I met someone and we clicked right away.-We both once married before and we both are late 30s- It was really wonderful to be with him, but after two months, he broke up with me because he was not ready for relationship..he had several failed relationships before and he looked very tired. It was very hurtful, but I respected him and let him go at that time. But, 3 weeks ago, he came back in my life again.. this time, I can see how much he missed me during our absence, and how much he likes me, or love, even we did not speak any "L" word yet. But, now I am afraid. I am afraid of rejection. I just try to enjoy with him when we meet, but I do not ask him anything more, but I am falling for him too fast... But, since last Saturday, we don't have any contact each other again. I know he told me he had 4days business trip this week, but today is July 4th and no news from him, and I feel I am lost. I know, I can try to call him, but I simply can't. I am so afraid. And I do not want to hurry anything this since we just met 3 weeks ago again. Need lots of warm heart from many of you..Thank you.  more

Open Question: How do I convince the kids to give away our dog?

My 6 year old daughter is allergic to most dogs. Three months ago we got a dog that was hypoallergenic. It was a labradoodle. Unfortunately it's fur is more like a Labrador than a poodle. The first month her allergies were fine not much but some congestion. Now that the puppy has longer hair she's been having some problems. She woke up a month ago and was having trouble breathing she was okay thank god, but that's what happens when she's around dogs. That wasn't the first time it had happened though, except I was unsure if that was her allergies because she was running a slight fever. Now it happens frequently and she gets hives as well. As for now the dog isn't allowed in her room and he just stays outside and in the living room. My husband and I love the dog but we have to give it away, however the kids will be heartbroken because after 5 years on convincing we finally got one! Any ideas on how to break the news to them? She has medicine that she takes for the allergies but still, it's safer without the dog Not only do I have a 6 year old but I have a 12 and 10 year old boy who love this dog and an 8 year old girl and a little 5 year old boy.  more

Open Question: Do you think she likes me as more than a friend?

This girl told a friend (after he asked how I met her) that we met in class (college) and she started talking to me cause she thought I was cute and then realized I had a great personality, but told him not to tell me this. I also wrote a song for her and put it on a CD and sent it to her, for her bday yesterday. She couldn't believe I wrote it and was like "you are officially amazing" i was like "that aint the best news i heard" and she was like "i think it's the greatest news ever." We keep having to delay going out to lunch though which she says she feels bad about....she's impossible to get outta the house, with everyone. But she's getting her wisdom teeth taken out on tuesday and wants me to visit her at work on monday to "say my farewells" haha...  more

Consequently, you name him something which means fighter, and choose your favourite boy name as the middle name. His name is: _______ ________ . 3. You find it hard enough to cope with your little boy as it is, and then you fall ill, making it even more difficult. Open Question: Christian people only please =)?????????????

I Read about this on the Christian singing duo Mary Mary's face book. Heres what it said- just got off the phone with a friend who told me about this blog post on a Mary Mary fan blog claiming that gospel great Andrae’ Crouch and his wife Sandra met with Michael Jackson only three weeks before his death — writing that Michael Jackson asked Andrae’ Crouch to play It Won’t Be Long [Then We'll Be Leaving Here] for him. This is the statement that is being attributed to Mary Mary:“Last night we received some good news from Terri McFaddin-Solomon who is good friends with Sandra Crouch. Three weeks ago Sandra and Andre’ spent some time with their close friend, Michael Jackson. Michael asked Andre` to play, “It Won’t Be Long And We’ll Be Leaving Here.” Michael then prayed with Sandra and Andre and accepted Christ into his heart. Now he’s singing in the heavenly choir.! Our hearts rejoice!” so does this mean that he accepted Jesus Or Not and do You think it's True?  more

Open Question: Truth about 9/11 The government is for the people by the people, cant we do something?

Is there anything we can do to force our government who is SUPPOSED to be there for its own citizens to divulge in releasing more information about 9/11 as in doing something as little as showing us an actual video of a plane hitting the pentagon? All the non-believers will say I saw the plane, witnesses saw the plane etc..Well if so how about you prove myself and the hundreds of thousands that believe the same idea on 9/11 and post a link of that video and not 3 or so clips of a explosion. Can we as citizens revolt to force our government to explain to us what really happened on 9/11. Most of us know but actually hearing it from the government that they did it for money and the ability to enter the middle east at free will would be Absolutely devastating but it is necessary. All the news regulations implemented such as homeland security were done so by forcing a terrible tragedy to sculpt our decision to basically strip all of us citizens of our god given rights in times of emergency. Open Question: Why did I cry after I woke up this morning?

One of my best friend's brother is dying of cancer... Everyone is very worried and upset. The doctors have said that the cancer has progressed to a stage where there is nothing that can be done. He is living at home now, acting like nothing is wrong.. just waiting to die... I have been very upset about it, but when I heard the news last night that it was finally untreatable, I couldn't cry. I couldn't get the emotions out. This morning, when I woke up, after about 5 minutes, I just started bawling and all the anger and sorrow came out... Why did I cry in the morning? I know that most times, people are more emotional at night, so I'm a bit confused as to how that works... Thanks in advance for your answers. I also thought it might be the shock and that I might be able to after the processing process in the brain after dreaming... Also, I was with someone very special last night, so I was feeling on top of the world before I heard. I just couldn't switch over to the other extreme... Sadly it is reported that he has a few days left at most... I doubt he'll last another month...  more

Open Question: Roger Federer in North London?

I received a phone-call yesterday afternoon from an excited colleague, telling me that they had met Roger Federer at a Londis Store Opening in Palmers Green North London. I calmly explained to my over-excited friend that this was impossible as he was currently playing on the centre-court of Wimbledon, in the semi-final of the championship he so venomously wants to win back. But it was no use, my friend was adamant, that at 9am that morning, Federer had been bought in by the wealthy shop-owner, signed a few autographs, mentioned he was due on centre-court at 2pm, had his photo taken with a few fans and then left. I find this very hard to believe, and haven't had an opportunity to inspect his autographs that my friend had collected. What do you think, is there any truth to this story, or was it just an impersonator. There is no mention of it in any of the local news websites, and would the great Roger Federer, probably the best Tennis player of all time, go to a remote suburb of North London for the grand opening of a convenience store?!?!?!?  more

Open Question: I have a relationship question!?

My ex boyfriend and I had been dating for 2 months, but we were always good friends and had very strong chemistry for over 4 years. When we first started dating everything was amazing! However towards the end of the 2 months, I was feeling like he was too clingy and I didn't have enough space. So, I broke it off for some 'space'. However, I still did love him a lot. He was devastated when I broke the news to him, and he still told me in the weeks following, that he was still in love with me. And i still had feelings for him too, but i told him i just needed some space to breathe. Weeks on from this, i see him out with another girl, and find out that they are dating. I think he is trying to make me jealous, and of course, i am. The girl he is dating was also one of his past relationships, and she always seems to be rubbing in the fact that she is with him and I am not. I feel really upset and jealous all the time, am I being a complete selfish bitch for feeling this way? What should I do about the situation? i know that he loves me, because he wouldn't stop telling me!  more

Open Question: The news media and old time democrat reporters like Helen Thomas and Chip Reid are surprised and becoming?

angry at the lack of promised transparency by the Obama administration. Over the past 8 months these were two of the biggest kool-aid drinkers showing up in the WH Press Room. Are they and other members of the media who have had a slobbering love affair with Obama, beginning to see what many of us have known all along? It seems that in the latest 'town hall' meeting, Obama had already handpicked those who could ask questions and in three instances he selected questions from those who were tied to his administration. Resolved Question: Do those of you on the left still think that what happened in Honduras was a "coup"?

After reading the facts below, see if you agree with Obama, Ortega, Chavez and Castro that the legitimate President of Honduras was ousted by a "military coup". It took the Obama administration eight days to figure out whether Iranians being gunned down for protesting a fraudulent election and demanding basic civil liberties deserved to be acknowledged by the president of the United States. It took the O-Team less than eight hours to side with Cuba's Fidel Castro, Venezuela's Hugo Chavez and Nicaragua's Daniel Ortega over the ouster of Manuel Zelaya in Honduras. As we now have come to expect, Mr. Obama got it wrong again, but this time, nobody noticed. The U.S. news media, preoccupied with the sudden demise of Michael Jackson, ignored the event in Central America. For those who care about things more important than the passing of a "pop music legend," here's the rest of the story: Manuel Zelaya, a wealthy rancher and agribusiness executive and a self-described "poor farmer," won a four-year term as Honduran president in November 2005, with 49.8 percent of the vote. Article 374 of the Honduran Constitution bars the nation's chief executive from serving consecutive terms. Apparently, one term wasn't enough for Zelaya, a protege of Venezuela's strongman, Hugo Chavez, and Nicaragua's phobic anti-American leader, Daniel Ortega. Late last year, as the Honduran economy tanked and unemployment grew to nearly 28 percent, Zelaya forced Elvin Santos, the country's elected vice president, to resign and began holding conversations with Chavez and Ortega on how to hold on to power. In lengthy Chavez-like populist speeches, he denounced the U.S. and wealthy landowners and linked himself with leftists in the Honduran labor movement. On March 23, he issued an executive decree directing a national referendum on a Venezuela-style constituent assembly to rewrite the country's constitution in time for presidential and legislative elections in November. The Obama-Clinton State Department was mute about all of this. Unfortunately for Zelaya's aspirations, the Honduran Constitution requires that amendments be passed by a two-thirds vote of the country's unicameral Congress during two consecutive sessions. By late May, the Honduran Congress, the Honduran Supreme Court, the commissioner for human rights, and the Honduran electoral tribunal all had overwhelmingly declared the referendum unconstitutional. Zelaya ignored the people's representatives, had ballots printed in Venezuela, and announced that the vote would take place June 28. Again, the O-Team was silent. In keeping with the rule of law, Honduran Attorney General Luis Alberto Rubi took the case to court. The Honduran Supreme Court ruled the referendum to be illegal and ordered the ballots to be confiscated. Late on June 23, Zelaya countermanded the court order and directed the army to distribute the ballots. Gen. Romeo Vasquez, the chief of staff of the Honduran military, sought legal opinions and decided not to distribute them. The following day, Zelaya accepted the resignation of the minister of defense, Edmundo Orellana, and fired Vasquez. The Honduran Supreme Court unanimously ruled the Vasquez firing illegal and reinstated him June 25. That prompted Zelaya and a group of supporters to seize the ballots and issue another executive decree, which directed government officials to set up 15,000 polling stations at schools and community buildings across the country. In response to a request from Attorney General Rubi, the Honduran Congress -- controlled by Zelaya's own Liberal Party -- opened an investigation into the president's mental stability and fitness to govern. Zelaya replied with a two-hour broadcast harangue, in which he claimed: "Congress cannot investigate me, much less remove me or stage a technical coup against me, because I am honest. I'm a free president, and nobody scares me." On Sunday, just hours before the referendum was to begin, the Honduran army, acting on a warrant issued by the Honduran Supreme Court, arrested Zelaya and sent him, in his pajamas, into exile in Costa Rica. The Honduran Congress affirmed Zelaya's departure and, in accord with the constitution, named Roberto Micheletti, who had been president of the Congress, as interim president of the country. It has been downhill from there. Chavez, Ortega, Castro and Bolivia's Evo Morales immediately condemned the "coup" and demanded that Zelaya be restored to power. Chavez went so far as to threaten military action. When asked about these events Sunday, the O-Team punted the issue to the Organization of American States, calling for "all political and social actors in Honduras to respect democratic norms, the rule of law and the tenets of the Inter-American Democratic Charter." Now there's a powerful statement of support for a constitutional process and the institutions of democracy. Meanwhile, the Clinton State Department is said to be looking at cutting off  more

Open Question: Wii shop channel not working?

I recently connected my Wii to the internet for the first time the other day, after having it for 2 years. It did a system update and then I tried to go on the Wii shop channel.... It messed itself up. The news channel works perfectly though. So I clicked on the shop channel and pressed start at the bottom, the screen went black, the Wii remote disconnected itself and I couldn't turn the Wii off by pressing the power button (which was green). So I had to unplug it at the wall to start it up again. How can I fix this problem? I have tried this a few times now and the same thing keeps happening Didn't you read the description? I said that I DID turn it off and on, and tried this a few times. In other words, I DID REBOOT You see, I have no virtual console games because the Wii shop channel isn't working. Open Question: How did you feel about Michael Jacksons death?

Well i live in england, and when i found out about his death it was the next day from my mum, she came in to my room to get me up for school and as she did she said oh yeah did you hear michael jackson has died! As soon as i heard this i sat up straight away and got out of bed and ran down and flicked the news on (usually when my mum wakes me up i moan and just lay in my bed like i cant be bothered with school!) I was in shock the whole day! every one was talking about it at school. I heard a few sick jokes and laughed at some but then i felt bad about laughing because i remembered what an inspiration and legend he was! I was just really in shock or the whole day, but then when i got home i put MTV on and there were tributes to him which were playing his songs, it was only then did i start to cry and i cried for ages!! I used to like Michael Jackson and his music, but when he died and they started playing his songs all the time, that's when i realized how great his songs really were and now im addicted to his music!! How did you react?? Oh yeah and i hate it when people say he was a pedophile!! He only did what he did to give kids their deserved childhood because he never had one seeing that he got pushed into a music career at the age of 5! Ok so maybe he shouldnt have let them sleep in the same bed as him or hung his baby over the balcony, but he didnt do it to be horrible! What i dont understand is, she is potty trained. If i am home and she has to go, she comes to me and gives me the look and i let her out. when i leave I put news paper down, and she goes on it, but it still stinks and is a hassle to clean every time i come home. i have even tried to bleach the spot she goes to rid her scent thinking that is what it was, but still she goes there. I have tried leaving her in her create when i go out, but she cant stay in long before she has a panic attack and starts drooling and going crazy. I dont know what i should do. any ideas?  more

Open Question: Atheist smile! aka Amani says that no atheist should be on y! answers whose been banned 5 times, is she right?

This is what she said to me when I pointed out that one of many of my questions had been deleted within seconds and that it was my fifth repost: "5 times? Take the f*cking hint. Edit- LOL!!!!!! I'm breaking the law? You are a pathetic man." This is her account: file:///D:/my/profile;_ylt=AhAnEoMrD6sjr6n5r7n7DXnd7BR.;_ylv=3?show=dNnJFzYqaa So Amani, and those 6 atheists who voted/thumbed her up (and no votes down except from me), you must agree then that those pagans and atheists who have been banned 5 times are trolls, and should take ___ hint? And Amani, supposing you didn't break federal US Internet Law, aren't you breaking the TOS by insulting and chatting? And what is the evidence that you are right that I am posting a TOS violating question with your mere insult and shouting and LOLing? Is that "proof", evidence, let alone scientific evidence? Does that show you have wisdom and are an intelligent good person either? But yes, you are breaking Internet law: "Annoying someone via the Internet is now a federal crime" http://news.cnet.com/Create-an-e-annoyance,-go-to-jail/2010-1028_3-6022491.html Or were you just speaking in kindness? It's also noteworthy, and telling, that her answer wasn't reported by any atheist, that it remained, and that she obtained points from it, while the question I asked, which wasn't a violation of the TOS was deleted by her friends, such as darwinsfriend3 AM whose been banned from Yahoo Answers more than 4 times. Ooops, her account is here: http://answers.yahoo.com/my/profile?show=dNnJFzYqaa "Oh and OO, that would include you wouldn't it, Mr. I've Been Banned 10 times this year by those evil thin-skinned Christians and Muslims... now back to my stalking". I don't read your answers by the way, since you're a troll according to Amani/smile! I should listen to atheists shouldn' t I? Oh, just not the ones who get banned 5 times, cuz, Amani says so! Awww, where's Amani/smile! ? Doesn't she have anymore wise TOS-compliant answers to give me? Apparently "LOL" and an insult with shouting is sufficient legal evidence to defend her in court. I wonder how she's doing in college with logic like that. ZER0, do you have evidence to back up your claim? You don't, I still have the page on which she said that, so why are you outright lying? Why do you make statements, ZER0, as I repeatedly pointed out to you, based on your mere assumptions? And why do you repeatedly point out the TOS to me which you break by your own answers, and like the kinds I repeatedly point out atheists like Amani make? Instead of calling me a liar, which is an insult since it's not true ZER0 why don't you ask Amani if she said that to me? Why don't you ask the 6 who thumbed her up? Why don't you obey the verses you claim are nonsense which you've pointed out to me twice now, yet have not explained why? I can also point you to those verses, but what does that mean if I don't tell you why? Can you explain why those verses, which say not to judge in hypocrisy, don't apply to you, but to me only? No, all you do is accuse. Apparently ZER0, for no logical reason other than that you feel so, you are above those verses you point out, yet that makes you a hypocrite, and so then the verses do apply to you. And don't you know by now hypocrite, being that that you even complained a little about it, that the moment I point out a page in which I asked a question, showing the evidence, that it gets deleted by trolls? That's what I've been pointing out often with my questions as well, and yet you bait me to show you the page on which Amani said that? So you are so prideful, so deluded, you can't imagine that an atheist would say that? So you never ever see any atheists chatting, or insulting? Really ZER0, you atheists are perfect? So you never break the TOS you pretend I don't know and insult me by wasting my time pointing out repeatedly, yet not explaining why? ZER0, look up the words: evidence, proof, explanation, mocking, stalking, and accusing. Maybe then you can beak out of your circular accusing. Kristen B said, "I don't think God appreciates your judge mental and hurtful attitude. Love thy neighbor and turn the other cheek little mister!!!" Who cares what you feel: are you God that your mere feelings determines God's will? What a narcissist you are. In fact, Jesus, who is God, and preached God's word, said: "Stop judging by mere appearances and make a right judgment" not "Don't judge, not even what I mean by don't judge, this is all I have to say, now be blank minded. Oh yeah, only Kristen and anti-Christians are allowed to PERSONALLY and PUBLICLY judge you, but you may not judge or complain, otherwise we'll say ur ranting, need to relax, cuss at you, tell you to go through the proper channels (like smug hypocrite Paul B did) while insulting you and reporting and then tell you not to take it personally after we deliberately tried to upset you and misquoted God in order to justify all that." And Kristen, did Jesus turn the other cheek when he said, "You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies." - John 8:44 and "You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye." - Matthew 7:5, and "Jesus, knowing their evil intent, said, 'You hypocrites, why are you trying to trap me?'" - Matthew 22:18 So, Kristen, is that what's meant by "love"? Obviously not: You, to show off, not at all to show love for God, took God's word out of context and twisted the meaning of love and FORGIVENESS. Tuning the other cheek meant DON'T PHYSICALLY FIGHT BACK, not "STAY SILENT ABOUT THE TRUTH", if that was the case, then why did you bring up the supposed truth? You're a hypocrite then Kristen, as are those who thumbed up your answer, and you're a narcissist for pretending to be above the law.  more

Open Question: Premonition or something else...about Michael Jackson?

This story may be weird for someone, and honestly I didn't really wanna write this but I had such strong sense as to what I've felt this past few days and I have to express it in here. So here it goes... I was very spiritual lately. I've been into the stars wishing and asking a lot of questions about my life and what's going to happen to the world. I was raced Catholic but as I grew up I became more into nature and the cosmos. Then one day I had a very weird dream. I was laying down somewhere, all I can see was bright clouds, and all of a sudden I saw a guy with a very black shiny midlength hair. He was very pale and I couldn't get a good look of his face because of the reflections of the bright background. When I woke up, the first thing I felt was someone's going to pass away, but I was scared because the guy seems like he needed to speak to me. And every time I go to sleep he would show up. After 2-3 days I saw the news that Michael Jackson died, I was shocked and scared because the guy that I've been seeing in my dreams was him. I am not a fan of Michael but I did loved his songs and brought back good memories of my childhood. And ever since his death I couldn't help but wonder why he showed in my dreams. I just realized that ever since He died and I started browsing his music in youtube. The only song that captures my heart is "Man in the mirror". Which can translate"Man in "my dreams". What do you all think?  more

Open Question: Can anyone please help me?

I am 29 yrs Old and ten years ago, i was separated from my then Fiance when she gave birth to My Daughter, Anastasia. About a month and a half after she was born, I was notified by her Family that my Daughter had died in her crib from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. I was distraught and I joined the Military shortly after to get my life and mind back into working order. Ten years later, I re-established contact with my baby's mother, and she gave me some news that I didn't quite know how to take. She told me that we were too young at the time to take care of a baby, so she had her family lie to me and tell me my Daughter was dead because she felt it was the only way I wouldn't try to intervene. She wrote unknown father on the child's birth certificate and gave her to a family that resides in Alabama. Now she wrote me recently and insinuates that I haven't been around for the last ten years, and told me if I contact her again, she will block my e-mails. I am having alot of trouble coping with this very hard and awkward situation. Any advice on how I can better deal with this? I cannot afford therapy.  more

Open Question: what do you think of my story so far?

i am 14 years old and just recently started writing this for something to do in my spare time, just want to know what you think? honestly :] ***** I remember the first day I stepped foot in this school, everything had changed so much, in the smallest amount of time. My friends, my family, and particularly me. I wondered what my parents would think when they seen that shiny stud in my left ear, or my jeans which were now torn in several places. My mum was going to America for a business trip, and thought it would be best if my brother and I went to live at my Aunt's in Manchester for the next four months. We lived in Kensington, and it was almost a four hour drive to their place, Not that I was looking forward to it. I had to go to school there and as far as I'd heard, it wasn't going to be pleasant. Albion High School was tagged as one of the roughest schools in Manchester, and every time I thought about it my stomach churned. I'd seen the kids at these kinds of schools, I'd seen them on the news for throwing bricks at houses across the street or lighting up fire crackers and ditching them in class windows. It wasn't fitting in that worried me, I'd never fitted in before, it was staying alive long enough to try. I had four months here and first impressions were definitely going to last at this place. “I don't get why I have to go to this school, out of all the schools in Manchester, you send me to the one where I have the least chance of survival.”I argued. “That's the plan” sniggered my brother Dene. I shot him a warning glance and changed the radio station. I sang along to a Sex Pistols song that was playing, and mum looked at me from the corner of her eye. “Since when do you listen to this music?””Since your sending me to a school full of Yobs. This is what they all listen to.”She didn't say anything else until we were there. We pulled up the driveway of my Aunt's old flat, I'd only been here once before, when I was five years old. I was seventeen now and not one thing had changed about the faded red brick or the cracked gutter on the roof. The garden was dead. The couch sitting on the front porch was probably not even safe to sit on, and the fifty three year old lady that looked one hundred standing next to it, was my Aunt Kath, smiling and waving. I could see her neglected finger nails from inside the car. She was wearing a purple dressing gown and slippers. In one hand she held a mug, and the other cigarette, waving in between every puff. “Katherine!” Mum tried to sound delighted, my aunt's smile looked just as fake. “Hello Maria” she smiled, and rested the mug on the window sill, making her way to the car to help with the luggage. “Ah, kids, haven't seen ya's in a while. Both yer rooms are down the hall, at the very end. Go on now, go unpack.” I smiled and grabbed my trunk. The flat smelt strongly of cigarette's and whiskey, and every step I took, the floorboards creaked. We slowly walked down the hall, peaking in every open room, which was just the same as the last, cluttered and messy. When we got to the end, I looked at Dene, “I'll take right”he shrugged and opened the door. Not surprised that it was also untidy, he set his trunk down on the springy bed and turned to me. “Guess I'll take left then.”My room was the same, but it had a double bed and blue walls. I opened my trunk and took out my clothes. There was a little white drawer in the corner of the room big enough for half my clothes, the rest I just left in my trunk, they were probably better off in there anyway. I went back outside and could see that mum was trying to edge back in her car. “Just stay for a drink, haven't seen yer in years!” “I'm sorry, I just have too much to do back home. My flight leaves tonight.” “Well, oright' then, I guess I'll see yeh in four months””Thanks again Katherine, Dene, Rye! I'm leaving”She sat back in the car, closed the door, and wound down the window. Dene ran straight past me and kissed her goodbye. I went over, hugged her, and banged the bonnet of the car twice. “Have a good trip!” I yelled as she pulled out the driveway and drove off. “C'mon, lets go fix yeh some supper, it's been a long drive I bet!”Dene spent the rest of the night playing scrabble and drinking tea with Aunt Kath, while I sat in my room deciding what I would wear to school the next day. I went to a private school, and never had to pick out clothes to wear before, we had a uniform. I decided to wear my navy parker, jeans, black gloves and boots. The next morning, I woke up an hour before school to get ready. After getting dressed, I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. My hair was naturally flat, and I'd never felt the need to do anything with it, but today I had to. I looked around for a comb or something but no such luck. I grabbed the bar of soap from the basin and wet it slightly. Looking at the slimy bar of soap in my hand I rubbed my hands together and put the bar back on the sink. I rubbed the soap through my hair u  more

Open Question: Something very strange about the H1N1 Virus (Swine Flu)?

Ok, if you take the time to read this you may call me a conspiracy theorist & you're welcome because there's something not right with all this... { info source: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/06/24/health/24flu.html } "Contrary to the popular assumption that the new swine flu pandemic arose on factory farms in Mexico, federal agriculture officials now believe that it most likely emerged in pigs in Asia, but then traveled to North America in a human". "The highly unusual virus — which includes genetic bits of North American human, avian and swine flus and Eurasian swine flu — has not been detected in any pigs except those in a single herd in Canada that was found infected in late April" ...................................................................................................... Now the media were all over this from the start, spreading fear of mass casualties the influenza would bring. As the WHO raised the threat levels, it was as if they'd already decided a full blown pandemic would be declared & reports were coming in of the warehouses already stocked & ready to go with the Anti-Viral Tamiflu. Just days later the leaflets raising awareness were hot off the press to be delivered to every household in the country! Then it would appear the effect/or reaction wasn't quite what they'd premeditated & the subject practically disappeared off the mainstream until now - they've plucked a figure of 100,000 as the amount of people likely to be infected each day very soon. If this doesn't have 'Man Made Event' written all over it I don't know what could & just basically leaves me thinking... * A virus doesn't just materialise out of thin air, in pigs that just so happen to pass it to a human who infects other pigs & the whole world with it! * I would wager everything on this virus having been made in a laboratory & reasons for Mexico being chosen as the starting point for a human depopulation programme comprehendable which apparently, as frightening as it may seem (for the sake of the planet) needs to happen. * A pig farm in Mexico would never have attracted the attention of the worlds media at such an early stage unless they were already made aware of something untoward. * The news broadcaters are controlled at the highest level, the scare tactics were to test public reaction & as there was no mass panic, they were able/forced to play the situation down. The virus hasn't spread as quickly as it might have done but I think come the Winter time we're going to see the 'true' effect of this Pandemic & the imminent death of many people perhaps myself included. I may not be completely right in all the conclusions I draw personally, though that doesn't matter, it's simply my opinion. But I defy anyone to claim that this is all just a naturaly occuring incident.  more

Open Question: Michael Jackson Accusations?

I recently heard on the news the boy who accused michael jackson of sexually abusing him admitted to the press that he and his dad lied to money and publicity. I'm still hearing people calling Michael a pedophile even though he was found not guilty the whole time. This just irritates me so much that people still call him names and make fun of him. Even though there was a logical explanation for the accusations, his skin coloring (vitiligo) and why he always wore a mask over his face (Lung illness). People just don't get it. I'm a die-hard michael fan since the day I listen to his cd in my sisters room ( that was like 2000, I was around 5). I'm just wondering, does this immaturity among people irritate you too? Tell me how you feel. Please no rude comments and I do respect the dead.  more

Open Question: Ka-ching! Is Sarah Palin cashing in? Al Franken, Schwartzenegger made money as popular figures, TV and?

show biz personalities. I think Sarah Palin wants to be free to make lots of money from her new fame, and also have free reign to position herself for 2012. Free from the burdens, constrictions, and liabilities of office. Oh, sure, public office *was* the springboard to other public office. But maybe Palin has figured, "Been there, done that, it got me on the national stage. Now it's just a liability, an opportunity to make a mistake or unpopular decision." Ah, lecture circuit and Fox News consultant time.... Think I'm right or wrong? (If I'm right, remember you heard it here first!)  more

Open Question: Is it just me, or are govs all over the world taking a turn for fascism?

Sorry for the wall of text, but lately, when turning on the news or stumbling across the net, I see all the time news popping up telling me this or that country increases citizen surveillance or cutting back on freedom of speech. It's becoming pretty much like in George Orwell's 1984, anyone voicing or even thinking an opinion against the state has to fear "re-education" of some sort at some point. Let's have a look at germany for a moment. Their gov lately opted to adopt a domain name filter to -officially- stop people from looking at media of child abuse, but not even two hours later some bloke voiced an idea to stop citizens looking at pages containing information and media on action games. Now one of them claimed the french, stopped law of "3 [copyright] strikes - you're out the net" would be beneficial to germany as a whole. Seriously though... Are they nuts? It took over 50 million lives freeing germany and europe of fascism some 60 years ago, now they are turning full 180 and repeat any single mistake. It is said that mankind has to learn from its mistakes, but leaders seem to never do.  more

Open Question: Why is gasoline expensive in the Philippines?

You convert the local pump prices to US dollars, they are almost the same per gallon if not a bit lower depending on the cycle compared to some states however the average income of a Pinoy is not that high so for the ordinary citizen that becomes a huge burden. An example: A news report quoted a New Era QC station selling at 35.30 pesos per liter, converted to USD that is $2.78 per gal. Houston prices around that time was $2.88 per gal. TB we are in the triple digits days in a row but looking at the bright side, men savor the fringe benefits albeit discreetly when the ladies enjoy the sun these days. Happy 4th everyone!  more

Open Question: What is it with liberals and the New Deal?

READ ALL, I ONCE AGAIN DARE THE LIBERALS TO REPLY WITH GOOD REPOSNSES... What the New Deal gave America was relief, but it did not solve the problem, it only prolonged it. It also left America with more debt. When FDR took office in 1933 (Year New Deal was passed.) unemployment was over 24%. In 1935 (Second year New Deal was passed) unemployment was at 18%. In 1939, it was 17.2%. In 1940 (before the War), unemployment was still over 17%. That doesn't sound like something that worked, after all 17% unemployment is MASSIVE. From 1933 to 1938, unemployment dropped only 7%. When America entered the Second World War in 1942, unemployment began to drop in a rapid pace. In 1943 unemployment had fallen to 1.9%. The Second World War is what got us out of the Depression. It made unemployment go away and it awakened the industrial might of America. It's not hard to see how WW2 got us out of the Great Depression. With everyone buying, spending, and producing, the economy made a great recovery. With the demand for war supplies high, it forced our nation to be more productive, which lead to us being more prosperous. WW2 got us out, the New Deal did not. All the New Deal left us with was a higher debt and a larger government… I think FDR’s own staff members can summarize how badly the New Deal failed, like what Henry Morgenthau, Secretary of Treasury for FDR, said once. He said - “We have tried spending money. We are spending more than we have ever spent before and it does not work. And I have just one interest, and now if I am wrong somebody else can have my job. I want to see this country prosper. I want to see people get a job. I want to see people get enough to eat. We have never made good on our promises. I say after eight years of this administration, we have just as much unemployment as when we started. And enormous debt to boot.” - Henry Morgenthau, FDR's Secretary of Treasury... (1941) That came from FDR’s own staff member! The numbers don’t lie either. Redistribution of wealth, which is what a stimulus does, does not create wealth or jobs! It only changes who has the money… New Deal policies like the National Industry Recovery Act of 1933, instituted “codes” to limit competition in business. Businesses were forced to cut output, so they could maintain high prices and wages. Businessmen who cut prices were cajoled, fined, and sometimes arrested. Fortunately, NIRA was struck down by the Supreme Court in 1935… Other polices all did what the NIRA did. A good example is the Agricultural Adjustment Act of 1933. It slashed production to increase and maintain high prices and wages. Other acts made the cost of employment incredibly high, such as the Davis-Bacon Act, or the increase on Social Security, which increased the cost of compensations. All of these policies also included high tax hikes, high regulations on business, and increased spending. These policies all lead to high unemployment and an increased burden to families. Many liberals talk about how FDR helped people, but what good is help, when the majority of the nation needed more than help. It needed economic help and recovery, which never came… Sources: http://geekpolitics.com/the-new-deal-didnt-work-the-first-time-lets-try-it-again/ http://www.academia.org/campus_reports/2002/summer_2002_3.html http://www.independent.org/newsroom/article.asp?id=176 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1089131/Great-myth-New-Deal-Depression-era-plan-prolonged-US-economic-slump-makes-poor-model-Britain.html http://www.floppingaces.net/2008/12/06/obamas-describes-his-new-deal-program/ http://meganmcardle.theatlantic.com/archives/2009/02/did_world_war_ii_end_the_great.php http://www.mackinac.org/archives/1998/sp1998-01.pdf http://www.cato.org/pubs/tbb/tbb-0508-25.pdf I also dare them to read all and answer thses questions-which were never answered by the liberals. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AmdLRRryZBNb0VWoqhPEvDbsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20090703203927AAVU8Z1 So far, in all my questions tonight, not a single liberal tried to debunk what i said... Sad... Most just read the first 5 sentances... READ ALL... I always do the same for you shit heads... Natalie is wrong, war increased demand for war supply, and increased production. It mostly was not due to what she said... Idiot. Hey brown, answer the question you shit head... U forced to hide in the closet and watch MSNBC? funny g, good one, read the damn sources... BTW the the supplies comes from independant factories, duh! Or how in the end, the war left us with high debt or how it left us with unemployment after it... fnny, do some more research ipod, if the gov is in debt, we get taxed and then we see the Carter years again... idiot. Tony, the same thing Obama is doing happened in Japan in the 90s... that lead to a major recession... idiot, u use the simple liberal counter arguement, when in fact no stimulus in our history has ever worked.  more

Open Question: Help With My Second Chapter :D?

You can read the first chapter here; http://www.worthyofpublishing.com/chapter.asp?chapter_ID=12112 If you can't be bothered, no biggie. This isn't edited and doesn't have as much description as the first, I still need to add to it, but this is a general outline of the start; LastTime- "What now, Joshua?" I was appalled. "Yes, now. Since it will be sunrise soon. Please, just come to The Birds Nest." He quickly added before I could answer, "Okay, thanks. Bye." I turned around, sulking that my evening of fun was disturbed, by a meeting with a human. I lurked on the streets, trying to not be noitceable, but I think that made it worse. I was meant to meet the only human I knew, that I haven't fed on. His name was Joshua Lagalle. Because he knew my secret, he thought we were 'friends'. I couldn't have a friend, not with what I was, but he was stubborn. I walked into the bar he liked so much. I don't know why he insisted on meeting in a pub, since my constant age is only 17. I presume the owner only let me come back because he was frightened of me. Joshua was sitting in his regular booth, drinking his regular alcholic beverage and wearing his regular grin. "Look what the cat dragged in." I smirked shortly, not because his commet was funny, because I remembered my remark to the girl not to long ago. I bent down into the booth, so that I was sitting directly across from him. "I see you've sharpened your fangs." His cocky nature was intact, like usual. He always found my fangs so fascinating, since they're there all the time. I don't necessarily like to call them fangs, maybe just jagged teeth. My jagged teeth aren't all that interesting, I guess they're just like canine teeth on a lion, or a dog. If our jagged teeth had a different name other than the cliche 'fangs' I'm sure it would just be canines, although they are a bit longer. "What do you want, Joshua." I chimed. "I thought you might have wanted to see me." I gave him a look as if to say, 'Be serious'. He must have noticed, "Okay, I was only kidding." He added. "Well, have you heard, Swine Flu has been spreading in Victoria like crazy." "What does a cold named after a pig have to do with me." I gave him a spiteful glare. "I just thought it might interest you, that's all." He half-smiled at me, being wary. "Joshua!" I said it a little to loudly, attracting attention from on-lookers. I set my voice in a low whisper and continued. "Why on earth would you invite me here, to talk about a flu. You just invited me so we could 'chat'." "Firstly, I told you we're friends so you can call me Joshua." "We are not friends." I said coldly. He ignored it and continued. "Secondly, so what if I invited just so we could chat?" "Because, I'm to busy for any of that nonsense." "What, busy going around sucking the life out of anyone that has a pulse?" I cringed. "Shut up. You know that's not all I do." "Can't you at least attempt to be human?" I cringed, once again. I glided out of the booth, almost ready to stomp off when something warm enclosed on my wrist. It was Joshua's hand cupping more firmly than I thought possible for a human. "Please, don't go." He said, almost miming the words. "Joshua. You might as well stop kidding yourself, there is, and never will be any sort of relationship between us." He was looking more depressed by the second. "I just needed someone to talk to, it's not like I have anybody else." I sighed, surprised with how many human emotions leaked through my barrier when I was around Joshua. I was thinking he either says that he is having strange dreams about vampires or that he has seen on the news some weird deaths and bla bla bla. Any suggestions? I'm all ears :) Thanks in advance. Woopsy :) I thought I changed that :P Oh well, I'm sure you get what I mean, like I said, this is unedited. Wow Lana, such help.  more

Open Question: What is this life? I dont get it?

I just heard a news reel about a baby eaten by a snake? Why do these things happen? I don't get life? People everyday have to deal with so much hardship. Why don't more good/positive things happen? It seems like we go thru time ok but then 'life' throws you a cureveball that is almost always negative in some aspect whether it be a death, or some sort of tragic event. Is life just a series of tragic events that we are meant to try and get thru? Why do bad things happen to so many good people? One can only take so much! Life rarely ever throws you positive events ..Why is that? What am I not understanding?  more

Open Question: Newborn questions! When to start cutting nails, when does belly time start, etc.?

Our newborn boy is 2 weeks old today and things are going great! He's finally getting used to breastfeeding which is great news for my wife, and we're getting more confident in our competence. :) We have a couple general questions though... 1. When do we start cutting the finger and toe nails of our baby? 2. When can we start putting our baby on his tummy for "tummy time"? 3. When you give your baby a bath, how should you place him in the water? Fully submerged up to his chest, or only up to his waist, or just feet, or what? Anything else in general? Thanks!  more
